Josh Scobee

Josh Scobee is the current placekicker for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He wears the jersey number 10.
[edit] Before the NFL
Josh Scobee played as both placekicker and punter for his senior year at Longview High School.
In college he would choose to play for Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. He would connect on 66 of his 92 field goal attempts, and make 145 of 153 extra point attempts for his entire school career. His point toal was 343 points, which currently stands at fourth all time among the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) annals. Scobee would enter the NFL in the 2004 NFL Draft.

The Jaguars selected Josh Scobee in the 5th round of the 2004 NFL Draft, being selected at 137 overall. Overall, he has proved to be a storng player for the Jaguars, converting 85 out of 106 field goals attempted for a conversion percentage of 80.2%.
A career higlight would come in the Wild Card playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on January 5, 2008; in the final minutes of the game, Scobee connected on a 25 yard field goal to win the game for the Jaguars, 31-29.
